3 Ingredient Brownies
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 ripe plantains
- ½ cup raw cacao powder
- ½ cup creamy almond butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional, Lily’s or Lakanto sugar free)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Peel the plantains and place them in a large mixing bowl. Mash them with a fork or potato masher until they are well mashed and smooth.
- Add the almond butter, raw cacao powder, maple syrup and chocolate chips (if using) to the mashed plantains. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined and the batter is smooth.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool in the baking dish for a few minutes.
- Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares or desired shapes and serve. Enjoy!
